Remember the sabbath day......

Exodus 20: 8-10

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates

As I am reminded that we all must rest... I take notes that my huskies have no problem with this very valuable lesson.....

Rest makes your soul feel good..... Now go get some rest.... make room for some down time!!

Simple Prayer....

I am new to the blogging world and must admit that I am not very good at blogging. I grew up in the deep south so english and grammar are not my subjects of perfection. I have a very good life and I am truly blessed.

 I grew up in the Christian faith and admit that I am far from perfect. In fact... ashamed to admit that I really have never put Christ first.  I have gone thru the motions of going to Church and I know there is a God.. I just never really had the big desire to really understand the Bible and God.  With that said... I have been going to church and for some reason really struck with the desire to know God and truly understand the Bible.... The Book... The one book that I believe everyone has at least heard the name... the title... HOLY BIBLE

I am now glad to admit that I am a part of two study groups.... One at my Church and One online. I am now reading scripture again and I am really starting to see the goodness and great guidance and advice the Bible has to offer. Now you ask... what does this have to do with my Huskies???

Well let me start telling you all about it.... I read scripture then I watch my dogs and their simplicity and love for life and I relive the scripture that I recently read.... I love this.   I will give you a sample of my morning...

Stealth (the boy on the left with eyes closed)... Dear God..Thank you for the smell of fresh bacon... Please show my human mom how to place a piece into my mouth... Amen

Lesson of the day:   If you don't know how to pray.... start with a simple prayer... God will hear your prayer and will help you!!!
